100% agree. I never understood how people can be such zombies and only think of coffee first thing in the morning to get awake.

I've drunken 1 liter of water for years now and it kicks me awake much more than a cup of fresh brewed coffee. I drink my coffee like 15 to 20 minutes after the water though. I enjoy it much more and I can feel how my metabolism reacts better on it.
