Water Fasting has enormous benefits for the human body

If you grew up in the western hemisphere and you were raised catholic, chances are that food on a daily basis is self-evident to you. I remember — when I was still going to church with my parents as a young boy — how the 40 day fasting period would take place every year in our commune.

So many people were talking about refusing alcohol, cigarettes, certain foods, etc. for 40 days, but most of them never really put it into practice. I was one of those talkers, because I could not see the sense in relinquishing on anything particular for 40 days, whether it was food, alcohol, habits, etc.

But today I think differently. Just a year ago at this time I had fulfilled a 60 hour water fasting treatment. And I would not tell you how convinced I am about this process, if I hadn’t seen the positive results of renouncing food completeley for almost 3 days on myself.

It all started on a Tuesday afternoon. Actually, I made this decision very spontaneously. After doing my daily routine, I would have lunch at around 14 to 15 o’clock. I prepared one of my all time favourite salads:

Ingredients:

· Salmon

· Green Salad

· Avocado

· Tomatoes
