Hey, thanks for your point of view. I've emphasized a few times in the article that these symptoms can come from other factors too.

The purpose of the article was not to emphasize how little the number of individuals is that suffer from such a deficiency. Apparently, if the number was high, the topic would've already been more relevant in society.

Yet, my purpose as a fitness enthusiast rather was showing up what can happen if people neglect the macronutrient and how many responsibilities it has in the body. Although it's not such a widespread issue, I've seen people in my social circle have some of these symptoms and I know what their diet looks like.

Especially, I've noticed that a lot of newbie vegetarians and vegans neglect it completely. They laudably shift their diet from an ethical point of view, and focus on eating lots of vegetables and plant-based food with a lot of carbs, but not much protein.

So yeah. my passion is to deal with such topics too and show how important protein actually is, because - in my opinion - it's still a very underrated nutrient.
