I think it's a good workout to start with for beginners. What I'd always advise people who are struggling to have progress (no matter if obese or skinny) is getting a good coach. It'll pay off more than any free workout on the web. A coach gives you a good workout plan, motivates you and makes sure that you don't fail + keeping you accountable.
I was skinny all my life, tried to build mass for years on my own, it worked out to some extent, yet since I got myself a coach, I've found a shortcut to my goals.
