If you asked the majority of people if The Rock looks like he does only because he eats chicken, rice, and broccoli and works out a lot, many would still say yes.

I would see Brad Pitt in the movie Troy or Chris Evans in Avengers when I was a kid and think that his physique was the result of just a regular exercise program.

And 10 years ago nobody would have doubted if someone like The Liver King was a natural athlete.

Times have changed.

It’s no secret anymore that Hollywood as well as mainstream and social media have deceived us largely and had such a major impact on the way we view bodybuilding and fitness in the past decades.

By the way, those two things have grown into multi-billion-dollar industries. I don’t even want to talk about Cbum’s net worth. It must be huge nowadays if his co-owned supplement brand alone is making several millions.

It’s crazy if you just think about it, but if we had a time machine and went back several decades, let’s say to the 1920s, we would find ourselves in a period where nobody cared about body fat percentages and buying low-fat Greek yogurt because of fear that regular greek yogurt has too many calories.
